Cheap SEO gigs any good?
Been looking at freelance platforms and keep seeing these tiny SEO offers for next to nothing. Backlinks, keyword research, on page audits. All for basically pocket change. Part of me thinks it is just people running automated tools and reselling the output. But another part wonders if it is worth a shot just to get started somewhere. Have you ever bought one of these cheap SEO services? What did you actually get and did it make any difference at all to your traffic or rankings? Not expecting miracles just wondering if there is any value at the low end or if it is all garbage.

Paid five bucks for an SEO gig once. The audit was clearly a template and the backlinks came from a spammy comment section. No change at all. Then I tried a platform that actually checks who is selling. That is where affordable backlinks from vetted sellers made a difference. Same low price. The audit was basic but useful. The links came from real blogs with actual readers. Traffic did not explode but it also did not crash. For a few dollars it was worth testing. The key is finding a place that verifies people and holds your money until you say the work is good.
